Great little sushi joint. Underrated for sure. Their sushi is always fresh and their fried rice with seafood is delicious. My favorite actually. I've eaten there and ordered out. Both a good option there.
Avocado Sushi is by far the best sushi spot in Staten Island! Came here on my birthday Tuesday night 1/23. Loved the music, decor, and service! We ordered a Sashimi dinner, some rolls, a bento box and kani salad! It was absolutely delicious!!!!!
I don't have anything to complain about here! Love stopping in for lunch. You can't beat 3 rolls soup and salad for 12.95! Nice large booths and reg tables as well. Service is prompt, staff is friendly, place is clean!
The best sushi we have found in Staten Island by far. We love their 3 roll lunch special and our favorites rolls to pick from are the spicy shrimp avocado, eel avocado, shrimp tempura, and spicy tuna. Their udon, teriyaki, shrimp tempura, and spicy tuna salad are also all excellent. We haven't dined in so not sure what service is like but our food has always been prepared correctly and on time. The restaurant does also always look clean and busy when we have picked our food up.
Wow. In the area talking to voters about Brittany Ramos DeBarros' campaign for Congress and early voting leading up to the August 23rd Democratic primary... and was looking for something delicious. Glad I stopped here! Super impressive MixTataki. Attentive service. Yum.
My husband and we're running errands and happen to see this place around the corner. Normally we order sushi from Avocado Sushi to be delivered but this was our first time at this location. Place was empty, there is construction on the street side and it can be hard to miss if you're using GPS. Place is clean and bright. Food was great and wait time was not long at all. We started with some seared salmon sushi and had entrees. The food was prepared fantastic and service was great. The hubby and I loved the brown rice as well. Flavorful with every bite.
It took awhile trying to find this restuarant because there's a lot of constructioning that's blocking the entrance to the parking lot. This isn't my first time eating avocado sushi but it is my first time eating at this restaurant itself. It's very consistent with the other restaurant that I eat at so I have no complaints whatsoever. I love that their shrimp tempura has two pieces of shrimp rather than the typical one piece. Everything else is fresh and the service was great.
Avocado sushi never disappoints. Sushi is always top quality, I love their avocado rolls I know it's basic. But add jalapeños and with the rice outside is my go to order. We order here quite often and I've stopped taking photos of the food because I just can't wait to dig in and eat, so these are the only photos I found in my camera roll from the beginning couple times ordering at Avocado Sushi. Avocado rolls with rice outside just changes the texture and feeling of avocado, trustttt me. Their special rolls are also very good, I cant recall what we ordered from the picture but their menu have descriptions of whats in their MANY OPTIONS of Special Rolls.
